Oslo, the capital of Norway, is an interesting city.
On one side, it’s the biggest city in Norway. On another, it only takes 15 minutes to get to the wide forests, lakes, and hills from the city center.
There are many beautiful hikes to do in Oslo and multiple day trips from the capital you can take.
I even made a map that includes almost 300 spots around Oslo to help you plan day trips and weekend trips.
Oslo is fun in the winter, with ice skating, and Christmas markets.
It’s an expensive city, but it’s possible to travel on a budget and find some good hotels in Oslo.
